Bitcoin and altcoin as digital currencies do have some properties that are similar to other currencies, especially gold and silver, but the value that is still not stable makes this currency not yet an ideal investment place.

if you assess a crypto investment, no one can conclude it is good or not, because not necessarily all will be profitable continuously. 
for example bitcoin in 2018 which for a full year gave a price decrease.

bitcoin does have good potential, but for investment, in my opinion it is not a save haven, so it is still not ideal.

BTC is an ideal investment considering the current price of coins is always going up, like gold which always goes up from time to time and becomes a valuable asset.
