Basket Scalper EA

This ea was recently made. I am still testing it. I have it running with a small TP and 5 pips gap between trades with a small lot size. It's performing good so far.

I have been testing it only for a couple of weeks. The capital needed depends on your broker and leverage. This ea works good with a high leverage and low spreads broker such as lmfx.

it seems like an averaging EA. Because you reverse the order logic, It will make a killing when there is a strong trend. but, not good even worse for the account if the range of the price movement is small.

Can I request that admin or another coder make changes to the basket scalper v2? Once max trades is reached I think it should have an option to increase lot size. Like "increase lot size" true or false. Also It should have an "increase by" setting which will determine how much the lot size will increase. Let's say that the EA starts trading at .01 lots and max trades was set to 5 and "increase by" is .01 lots. Once there is 5 trades open on either side it will start another cycle at .02 lots. Now let's say that there are 5 trades at .02 lots on either side. It will then start a new cycle at .03 lots. Also if you can make this change can you rename it to basket scalper v3. The tp should be an overall tp of all cycles combined. Once tp is reached it will close out all trades then start over. The lot size should only increase if the "increase lot size" was set to true. If someone can make these changes I think it will be more profitable. Thanks for your time.

I just want to make sure that I understand what you mean by "either side". Maybe you meant "both sides". It is a big difference. If max trades will need met on both sides, it's like the basket is locked up. Then a new cycle can start and hopefully that new cycle could offset the locked up profit/loss from the previous basket. But if you mean "either" side, then the basket should be in profit already by the time the next basket opens. In this case, the next basket would only open if you are using a large TP. I do not think you would see this new feature work unless the TP is big.

I mean when both sides reach the max trades. Let's say that max trades was set to 5 and there were 5 buys and 5 sells. Then I want it to automatically start a new cycle at increased lots.

Ok, I understand. I'll get this done as soon as possible. I might not finish the Basket Scalper EA v3.0 until next week though.

Attached is the Basket Scalper EA v3.0. I tested it briefly and it seems to do what it should. Let me know if you notice any problems.


Notes:

• This new feature for multiple baskets will only work if 'Max Trades Per Direction' is used. Or else the original basket has no reason to end and will never be locked up.

• Any additional baskets will also start out using the 'First Trade Type'. Just like the original basket.
