Hi, I downloaded this genetic algo, but it doesn't work in my mt4. does anyone know why? Thank you

Sorry, I have no answer. that was its name. unfortunately it doesn't work on my mt4 platform. I meant someone could make it work.

I copied both files into the proper locations and the EA seems to work for me. It compiled fine and also back tests fine too. So when you say it doesn't work on your MT4, what exactly does that mean? This could mean many things. Maybe you are using an invalid setting. Maybe you didn't copy the files to the right location. Maybe something else. So more details are needed.

where is the right place? I copied only de genetic expert in the experts folder. The other file I found no info where to put it. It never happened me with other experts I've downloaded, i mean it was simpler to run them. I tried to run a test but nothing happened. I'll come back home next saturday, so I'll try suggestions only after saturday.Thank you for the advice

It is an include file. So basically, it contains code needed by your main EA file. Without it, the EA will never work. So you must copy the include file into the 'Include' folder which is inside the 'MQL4' folder. So it's a similar process as the EA file which goes inside the 'Experts' folder, but this one just goes in the 'Include' folder instead.
