What is important in using indicators is that you have to know how the indicators you use can make you more comfortable to analyze and what is important is to use indicators that you have learned before so that you are not confused.

if you mean using technique a, the important thing is that we use moving averages, indeed I agree because MA is its purpose for analyzing trends and that is what you should use in your analysis.
