if you mean to find oversold and overbought can use cci and other oscilator indicators, because it is a function of artificial oscilator indeed it is, and you do not have to bother marking manually just wait for the indicator to reach in the direction of oversold and overbought

identify a strong trend and can not use cci as a way or can use rsi because most traders determine it all from the indicator and it saves you a lot of time than you make your own high and low lines

If there are more candles in daily TF that form bullish candles, then I think that is a strong signal that the trend is bullish.
