Every trader will face loses at some point, the import part is to learn from the mistakes we've made along our trading journey. I think it is important to always set SL and TP and carry on whatever happens.
Many of us feel bad when our order is closed by a take profit but the price continues moving upwards, the way I see it it not a missed opportunity as you have already accomplished the goal you were going for.
