If you want to trade in the short term, I think you should not mix technical analysis with fundamental analysis, just choose one and hone it until you are really proficient.

Some like to use short term some like to use long term it all depends on your own will. I can't force it but usually professional people like to use this long term even using one or four hours is already very small because using a long term is quite good.
