The short term is often chosen by beginners but the long term is said to be safer.

I prefer long term trading because in the long run it will be safer than short term.

it seems that many traders use short term styles compared to long term or middle term.

Noobs  those  just  started  doing  the  forex  trading,  the  swing trading style  is  good  because  larger  time  frame  gives  you  a  clear  cut  picture  where  will  be  market  in  long run. if they trade on short term there is huge chance they might lose some money and become greed driven in this business.
I have a solution for this, you should first apply your initial intention to trade whether for daily life or for investment, I recommend that you at least trade daily or even weekly because it is better for psychology and not only because you want to pursue big profits you ignore the risk

I myself tend to like short-term trading. To be honest, I used to be a long-term trader but for some time I was more happy with the short term because I quickly made a profit.

one reason why many traders fail is that they choose short-term trading styles even though short-term trading is more risky than long-term.
