Switching strategy is to change direction by closing a losing position and then opening a new position in the opposite direction from a closed position.

Examples of Switching Strategies
At present the price of GBP / USD is 1.2720. I predict GBP / USD will rise towards 1.2800. Therefore I open a buy position.

After a few hours it turns out that GBP / USD moves against my prediction, GBP / USD drops and currently is at the level of 1.2685. This means that the buy loss position is 35 pips

After re-analysis, it turns out that GBP / USD will go down towards the level of 1.2600.

In order for this day not to lose, I decided to close my long position with a 35 point loss and open a new short position. After a few hours it turns out that the market moves according to the results of the second analysis, which is down, and is now at the level of 1.2600. And close my sell position with a profit of 85 pips.

By switching, my profit is 85 pips minus 35 pips. net profit of 50 pips.

switching strategy is very good and changing from loss to profit, for padti beginner traders do not understand correctly because their psychologists are still lacking and usually when they are floating instead of being cut lose but instead added more orders

Easy but useful strategy, if there is a floating and the trend continues, so according to our analysis the price will still make us add minus, do not hesitate to cutloss and do order reversal so that our position from minus to profit.

switching strategy if the conditions are right it must be good, like the example you mentioned.
if the condition when doing CutLoss the price is better again to our initial price, it causes a loss twice.

I do not like this strategy because it requires a lot of margin so that small capital is not in accordance with this strategy.

although it requires a lot of margin, but this strategy is sometimes needed and it is effective if used on time and according to conditions.

this strategy requires careful analysis, if there are only a few mistakes, the loss will occur repeatedly.

better one open position with a very mature analysis, rather than swiching and an error occurs.

Switching strategies are only used in certain conditions when the market forces us to use them.
