this strategy is wasteful of the same margin as the technical and averaging techniques.

I don't like this strategy, I use averaging more often because I have a directional principle that will be better.

a good strategy but it must be right in applying, switching is identical to martingale just the opposite.

Switching strategy is to change direction by closing a losing position and then opening a new position in the opposite direction from a closed position.

Examples of Switching Strategies
At present the price of GBP / USD is 1.2720. I predict GBP / USD will rise towards 1.2800. Therefore I open a buy position.

After a few hours it turns out that GBP / USD moves against my prediction, GBP / USD drops and currently is at the level of 1.2685. This means that the buy loss position is 35 pips

After re-analysis, it turns out that GBP / USD will go down towards the level of 1.2600.

In order for this day not to lose, I decided to close my long position with a 35 point loss and open a new short position. After a few hours it turns out that the market moves according to the results of the second analysis, which is down, and is now at the level of 1.2600. And close my sell position with a profit of 85 pips.

By switching, my profit is 85 pips minus 35 pips. net profit of 50 pips.
I am not used to switching because I trade in one position

strategies that waste margin should not be used carelessly as switching is also risky if it doesn't really master it.

the strategy you use is indeed quite good and interesting, it's just that for traders who have not really mastered the switching strategy will be at risk, my advice train that strategy well and consistently.

if we do not master the switching strategy we can be exposed to the risks involved in trading because the switching strategy is quite difficult if you have never used it.

This switching strategy sounds violating the rules of discipline because it changes the trading position that we should believe to be true especially if we have installed a stop loss and profit target, but this strategy can be done with the condition that we are sure of the true trend direction and believe the trend that we switch is a valid trend .

Actually it depends on the situation, changing the strategy is not a problem as long as implementing a money management security strategy.

Changing trading conditions must be done with very mature calculations.
because the scenario could actually be additional detriment.
so first pay attention to the conditions well then consider all the possibilities well
