If you trade using multiple time periods, in my opinion here it is not necessary to just use two time periods, one long term, one short term, the long term for analysis, the short term for confirmation of Open positions.

In my opinion, using a large period of time is not a problem as long as you are able to combine and use it well to see the information that is currently happening. In my opinion it is not a problem.

If you use a long period of time, let's see first whether that time is really effective to use or not. But don't use too much, a maximum of 3

For me, using multiple time periods is normal because it is something that requires analyzing multiple time periods so that we look for accurate information. What direction is the trend actually going, especially for the high time period

I always use three time periods, the first is 30 minutes, 4 hours and 1 week. In my opinion, this time period will be very effective as my analytical tool to see the overall trend.

The important thing is to make a profit no matter whether you use multiple time frames or one. The important thing is that you have a clear trading system, not a matter of time frame.

If you trade using multiple time periods, in my opinion it doesn't matter because the most important thing here is that you can combine and use these time periods to find information.

In my opinion, trading with many time frames is good, but apart from that, what is also good is trading in many currencies because the risk is smaller.

When we analyze the chart pattern in different timeframes, we will gets another view of the price itself by support and resistance, choosing timeframe is usually also adjusted with trading style, let say it is impossible for scalping traders only use high timeframe like daily or weekly, because they can't get detail price movement, and they prefer use M5 or M15 or M1 because gets detail pattern.

if you use many time periods it doesn't really matter here. The most important thing is that when you use many time periods you have to be able to combine them and continue to use them carefully so you can see the trend well.

Using all timeframe to analyze the market is only help traders get mirroring in difference angle analysis with a different view, when traders using high timeframe weekly or monthly they can watch perspective of price trend in long term, while in low timeframe like M5, M15 or M1 they gets perspective prices in short term.

I still don't recommend that you use a lot of time frames which are not effective. In my opinion, using multiple time frames is not necessary. Too many, just use a maximum of 3 time frames, short term, medium term and long term, for example 5 minutes, 4 hours and 1 month or 1 week is good.
