Pay attention to the size of the positions you open in hedging. Make sure that the size of the hedging position you open does not exceed the risk you wish to protect.

if you use hedging then you should be able to do with decent results

I think this is a good strategy to be used. It can guide us to reduce risks, improve diversification, or even increase our profit. But, yup maybe it's a little bit complex and can be expensive. Maybe you can read this article for other insights

The aim of this strategy is to protect the trading portfolio and reduce the risk of losses. By hedging the trades, the trader can offset any losses he may incur with the gains he had made from his other trades.

You have to be careful when using hedging because all your open positions are floating minus.

So any open position which is going against you would result in a doubling of your losses if you hedge it.

using hedging shouldn't be weird because it will be very difficult if you can't win

Although it reduces the risk of losing a deposit, hedging positions often eats up a significant portion of profits. So don't get too carried away with it.
