GAP is actually just a camouflage, in fact the forex market has never been on holiday and there has never been a GAP, GAP is only found in the forex market owned by brokers.

Gap is a price gap which is formed when the broker is on holiday, the gap usually occurs due to high impact news when the working days of forex trading are on holiday or are moving slowly.

In short, GAP is a sharp increase or decrease in prices in the market. gap usually occurs due to high volume and rarely encountered, if you can take advantage of it the benefits are very high.

GAP often occurs after holidays, the price changes are high because actually on holidays the market continues but on a small scale, so when it opens, GAP occurs.

My knowledge of GAP is a price vacuum due to unrecorded jumps by the broker and often occurs when the market is closed, although it does not rule out the possibility of occurring when the market is open.

If we pay attention to GAP, it does not always happen but there are also conditions when the gap is very small and not more than 10 pips because the market is calm during holidays.

GAP is an event when the market opens where there is a hole that is not filled with candlestick, and the greater the gap value will be faster and closed it
