GAP is an empty space on the chart, this happens because of a sudden spike in prices, especially during holidays. Gap often occurs on Mondays when the market is open.

a price spike that we don't know the cause or what we just thought that it was a fundamental news that caused it all to happen

But not always, sometimes losing the price even away from the gap, so use a good risk limit in this case

I often lose because of the gap, now I always close positions before the market closes

If we haven't been able to use the gap, you should not trade when there is a gap, it's better

GAPs don't only happen on Mondays, because I also see when there's big news, gaps sometimes appear.

Actually not only Monday, we can see the gap on a normal day when the market then moves very fluctuating
