Today?s Trade Plan
If Turkey hikes their Interest rate today to 18% then that really won't shock anyone and it?s unlikely to move the Lira as the forecast of 18& is already priced into the Lira. However, if they fail to hike as expected and leave rates at 17% then I would sell the Lira, and conversely, if they hike to 19% today and overshoot market expectations I will buy the Lira. In either scenario, we can expect a great move!
Good Luck James Thatcher
