The SIGNUM TMG Token is paying a REALLY good dividend at the moment.
Yes, I noticed this too and have invested in some TMG. It's my favorite token so far running on Signum other than FZT.
The TMG token creation rate and burn rate have achieved a sort of balance. It remains to be seen if it is sustainable.
It's an interesting concept. I think the foundation of this TMG economy is the miners. With no miners who deposit Signa, the whole thing falls apart I think.
Most of the Signum dividend-bearing token have an inherent risk. That is market saturation. We rely entierly on the Token issuer to hold back the circulation of their millions of tokens.
Yes, true. Most Signum tokens are not serious from the start. And the serious ones have risk since the treasury account can dump tokens on the market at any time. This is why with FZT, there is a whole list of buy orders from the treasury account to soak up any seller's FZT and take it back out of circulation. And when sell orders are placed, it is just to provide liquidity and some price action, but it usually is matched with a pending buy order too.
To be honest, I would not say this is trustless though. I think that TMG does have some good amount of risk too. One risk is a low number of players from lack of interest or from another contract based token coming out. Another risk I see is the website itself going down for some reason. For example, the domain is not renewed or the owner of the site no longer wants to share the sub-domains anymore. Then new miners could be forced to pause. Another risk is the site can be linked to another contract. Unless someone is checking the raw data every time they hit the button in XT wallet, which I do not think most people would do, they could be agreeing to whatever. And another risk is if the AT contract is cancelled or there is an unintended change to Signum that causes the current contract to be bugged. There is risk in every project I think. Even with FZT.
