for the price of bitcoin is good and if you do mining now it seems very profitable, especially if the price of BTC continues to rise surely mining will be more profitable than trading.

Minning is a mining activity with tools as well as mining gold. the difference here is that the tool is a computer or a minning machine.

like a pretty good friend, indeed mining it needs tools and energy, if coin mining the tool is RAM and the energy is internet speed and electricity.

mining is not just bitcoin but very much as you say, there are mining LTC DOGE XLM XRP and many others.
