You must be able to choose a currency pair that has a clear trend over a long period of time, which is what you can use to open positions

In my opinion there is a way to open a position in an area like that but to be safer you can use or look for other currency pairs that have a good trend.

The most important thing is, don't open a position when it is sideways. You can open a position when there is a trend
