I prefer to use both but the most is the use of candlesticks. This is important to do so that you can do activities to propose a more effective system.

Personally, I prefer analysis using indicators. In my opinion, analysis using candlesticks is more complicated and takes a long time to understand.

If I use both of them, the use of the indicator is to mark a signal to open a position. Meanwhile, for candlesticks, I use them to see a reversal or continuation of direction. Usually, I use engulfing and I think it is very good if used together.
