This habit is a wrong habit in my opinion, especially when you are opening a position, shifting the stop loss will actually cause your open position to continue floating minus, especially when you use a rather long stop loss.

This habit is a bad habit. The habit of moving the stop loss when you open a position. In my opinion, there is a lack of confidence in the system you are using, so don't get used to it like this if you want to always be consistent.

I think always moving the stop loss is the wrong performance because when you have set a stop loss, yes, just leave it because or not. There is a risk.

The habit of shifting the stop loss is an action that I think is not a problem as long as it is not frequent, but when in one open position you shift or move more than 5 times, I think that is not normal.

When traders lose and they shift the stop loss, it means they also increase the risk that they have calculated from the start and of course this is not good for their trading account.

It's best to manage your trading account wisely, remain disciplined in following your trading plan, if you move your stop loss it means you are no longer wise with your trading account.

Always remind yourself that you have carefully tested and checked the position and stop loss you placed, so don't move your stop loss once you have placed it.
