Here are tips that need to be understood if you are going to learn forex without a mentor.
1.Learn from simple things first
We definitely use trading platforms, which are popular like mt4, mt5 and ctrader. Let's just study the features, how to use them and the many things in these components.
2.Learn the basic concepts of Forex
Understanding of forex, how it occurs, how the currency can have a difference, what is the reason for the price going up and down, etc. maybe it's just a theory that sometimes when in practice it doesn't work but keep in mind we start without a foundation we are the same as building on water, now maybe we can but how long?
3.Learn indicator help
I prefer to learn trading starting from a naked chart or an empty chart, meaning that you are familiar with the patterns, shapes and times that occur on the chart.
4. Learn 1 item until you can
For example, learn Support and Resistance, then study it until you understand well, how the variations are, how support becomes invalid, how does resistance become valid, how does Support become resistant, etc., then change to other sciences.
5. Evaluate, Execute Discipline, Focus, and Repeat
After running, always evaluate whether it succeeds or fails, be disciplined in carrying out techniques and MM in trading, focus and repeat if there are doubts when entering, if necessary leave if in doubt

I'm honest, just trading forex without a mentor to teach it. Capital is just a strong will to learn from the simplest to the most complex. And I only learn from ebooks and youtube videos. So there is no one to guide directly and now instead become a forex teacher who teaches many traders how to trade until they get consistent profits.

Personally, in my opinion, apart from self-taught by applying the tips and strategies that you mentioned above, it's also a good idea to need a mentor in discussing the study of the knowledge we learn.. Mentors don't have to pay, build relationships and partnerships with experienced traders in forex as well. help us gain valuable knowledge and experience

if you already have a strong will to move forward then self-taught learning will also allow us to master trading, and the skills we have will not lose to those who learn, there are mentors who learn on average there are paid mentors too

Yes, it doesn't matter. When you don't use a mentor, you can use learning on your own. You can use techniques. Where you can read them in books or in videos, because nowadays there are many lessons that we can get on the internet, we can learn self-taught. Like I used to use.

learning trading without mentors in my opinion it will indeed be a little more difficult and longer, because that means we have to find everything yourself including doing trial and error

When you don't learn to use a mentor it's not a problem. But when you don't learn at all it's a problem, so self-taught learning is not a big problem, it's actually good and can add to your insight.

In the end, it is the trader himself who can determine it, while the mentor is only limited to being a mentor, especially in the realm of learning material problems. while the problem of feeling and psychological problems return to their respective traders, therefore we often encounter the same trading system, the same mentor, but in the application and the results are different,

It is the time process that determines the maturity of a trader if the time required for psychological maturity takes at least 3 years to become an experienced trader and at least the psychological failure factors can be controlled, such as greed and fear.

I think learning the most basic things is something that every trader absolutely learns, especially for those who are self-taught. I personally think the most important point is learning without indicators. In this way newbie traders can better familiarize themselves with charts, as well as chart patterns that reflect supply and demand. The problem is that without knowledge of candles, traders will find it difficult to start using indicators.

learning to trade without a mentor must be based on a strong desire and an unyielding spirit, because if we learn without a mentor it means that no one directs our trading so that it can be better

We use a mentor, it doesn't matter when we learn a science of the forex trading world, the problem is when we don't want to learn and don't want to try for whatever reason it is something that is not good. If you ask about the use of a mentor, it's not a problem
