You should and stick to the profit set, or changed less based on the market. But you have to always limit  the loss you willing to take in each trade

My profit target is unlimited.
Why $ 10 if you can $ 100?
But I am targeting a 2% loss per day.
So if I lose 2%, I will stop trading for that day.

I am not targeting profit because I am a swing trading so sometimes we wait for the right time to open a position, except when my scalping targets my profit

Profit does need to be limited as well as losses. If the profit obtained has met the criteria we want, it should cut profit only so that it can close the possibility if the price will reverse the direction instead of making loss floating.

I don't think too much about how many targets I have to get because, I will only enter the market when there is good momentum with the possibility of greater profits compared to losses
