If there is news and you are sure that your analysis is correct, you can actually not limit profits and let the price move as far as possible, because usually prices move with high volatility and you will get a lot of profit.

If you limit the profit risk ratio that you use to at least 1:2, for example, if you want a profit of 100 pips, then for risk you target 50 pips, I think that is the correct trading method.
