From a technical point of view, I agree with one thing from here that a margin call as the name implies is a call to equalize margins or return margin reputation levels to a good level, because funds or equity are running out.

Now for a general understanding, a margin call is a massive defeat or loss for us in trading, that's an easier language which means we have to re-fill the balance or funds to be able to continue trading, therefore margin calls are a nightmare for traders, especially novice traders who who do not understand the techniques and fundamentals and only rely on intuition alone.

So, therefore, we as traders must continue to learn fundamental analysis and all the ins and outs, including learning in this forex zone forum so that we can minimize potential losses and most importantly be free from margin calls.
