I think to get a good pending order is between being able to spend your time properly and being able to be precise.

In MT4 terminal we can use pending order type buy limit, sell limit, buy stop and sell stop, and we can checkbox the date to activated order will expired, while in Ticktrader terminal we can use limit order buy or sell with type Good Till Canceled, Good Till Date and immediate or cancel, and we can checkbox hidden or iceberg.
