An indicator that repaints certainly makes us a little confused, so it is highly recommended to use an indicator that does not repaint. And if I suggest actually you are better off just using a candle pattern to be more accurate.

I prefer using candlesticks than using indicators so I don't know if the indicators are late or not because I know how to use them but so far so good.

All indicators must be late because the indicators are man-made, of course there are weaknesses. When you don't want to be late, you don't have to use indicators.

both are actually good and depends on how we use it. If you have an indicator that doesn't repaint, that's even better.
