both things have different meanings and meanings, if realistic means you get something that makes sense, for example you are trading capital of $50 a day can be $1 it still makes sense, if optimistic it is more to the mindset we have to be optimistic despite the many losses

sometimes the mindset can change depending on our psychology everyday, there are times when a bad mood or bored with forex. there is one solution so that we think that our mindset is correct and does not change, which is to interact frequently with other traders, often discuss and share about forex, because other traders will definitely support us no matter what our circumstances are.
