for me realistic is number one because when you can't be someone who is realistic then you won't be able to become someone who is successful, optimistic is the heart, so the most important thing is being realistic by setting all goals

Trading mindset must be realistic and not optimistic. Many novice traders are too optimistic in forex trading that they fail along the way.

If excessive optimism, especially in achieving profit targets, leads to greed or excessive targets, usually excessive targets will not be consistent even though they can be met in one or a few months.

what is better is realistic because to be able to get long-term consistent profits the main condition must be realistic, the smaller the monthly target, the easier it will be to achieve consistent profits. The mindset of a trader must be able to show that they are realistic and optimistic people because when they act like they are realistic, their goals will be easy to achieve because they are not greedy and they must be optimistic in running it fast.

The trading mindset between realistic and optimistic is indeed very different and we must balance this. if I myself I prefer to choose a realistic course so as not to be greedy.
