Why usually a beginner trader seems like to be scalping?
1. Small capital.
Beginner traders are usually small capital so that if the trading period is long fear of capital will run out.

2. Fear with floating minus long.
Psychologically a beginner trader I want to be profit in a quick time because of ambition and greed but feel fear if there is a minus flap because he doesn't know what to do if floating occurs. The knowledge and experience is not enough to be able to anticipate the risk.

3. Don't understand many trading techniques.

most beginners like to use scalping because it is faster to get profits when we use scalping for a long period of time we will get maximum results too so it is recommended for beginners you should not try it first

indeed most beginners prefer to use scalping rather than short or long term because when they use scalping which is only about 10 minutes or 15 minutes then they quickly gain profits and quickly get losses so balanced is not suitable for investment
