As far as I know, it's not only beginners who like scalping, even professionals I think many use scalping but in different ways in different methods maybe because it's faster to get profits and it doesn't take too long to get targets

Scalping is not easy, in fact it is very difficult. Our psychology plays a lot there, because scalping usually uses a small time frame, with price movements that look like they are faster. Why do beginners like secalping because the average beginner thinks trending is gambling, there are also those who think trending is just buying and selling, so if it's blue, close it immediately. Not only that, the average beginner trader only learns techniques, they don't study trending psychology, money management, etc., if for example, floting is prolonged, they just let it be.

If I have a personal opinion why many beginner traders like scalping techniques, that is because scalping techniques are faster in getting profits and of course beginner traders are more often or like to be on the laptop screen for hours.
