Hi, please check the EA. It hasn't placed a single trade after I loaded it but the older version has placed trades.

I made another tweak, the EA might be a bit slower, but nothing the human eye will even notice, just the initialization will take a bit longer.

Let me know if it works ok, attached is a screenshot where I tested it on M1 time frame.

On the option for Forex, CFD and Metals.
I will try and give options there, please bear in mind, MT4 sees CFD and Metals in the same category, and FX in another.
So you will basically only have 2 choices. 
So maybe it is better to let the EA run on 2 charts, 1 for FX and 1 for metals and CFD's, or maybe even 3 if you want to split metals and CFD.
Admin might have better suggestions?

PS. I will do the Golden Turtle over the weekend, so you can start running it on Monday.

For sure, you are next on the list.
Just BTW, I had a look at the Golden turtle, it has 3 different trading techniques.
Do want each technique as a separate EA, or shall I try and include all into one.
Just a word of caution on the latter, the trading system uses 8 indicators, the EA's will be very resource hungry ???

I prefer 3 separate EA's since one is normal forex, second is for gold and last one for re-entry.

If it's not too much trouble, it would nice to also have it combined as well and see how it performs.

I (think) I'm done with the other EA,
If you don't mind, I will do the mods to this EA tomorrow, as well as the coding for the Turtle type EA you asked for.
For tonight my mind is full of  if/else statements  and what to do with those etc etc.
I just want to see what an actual FX chart looks like for an hour or two.

Hi ,

I have being testing miloodin's EA and have found out that losses appear mainly with trades are taken against the trend. Can you please place in a filter on the latest version where trades are only executed based on the H4 trend. Buy only when H4 is uptrend and sell only when H4 is downtrend. You can use any trend indicator of your choice.

Trend indicators can be anything from a moving average, to more complex trend indicator. 
What about the last 2 indicators Reshleman posted on the site?
I also had another idea to modify the EA as follows:
(Except for distinguishing between FX and Other Symbols, eg metals and CFD)

  • Only open buys when the close price is below the mid green line
  • Only open sells when the close is above  med green line
(This might already already eliminate the trades where the market has moved too far into the trade direction, thus effectively putting your stop into an "unsafe" zone.



  • Option for Auto SL and TP 
  • SL below blue line on buys, and TP on the red line value when the signal triggered
  • SL above red line and TP on Green Line value
  • Option to trade only the Symbol of the chart the EA is dropped on.

This was interesting.
I can tweak it more, but for now it does what we discussed up above.
If you want  to trade Metals, or CFD's, you need to drop the EA on a metal or CFD chart as well.
It will only trade instruments in the category you selected in the inputs tab.
I've changed the SL parameters a little bit to put SL just outside the red/blue lines
Keep me posted please.
